Pick a side. Defend it in the comments.
Pulse Hot Takes is an automatic debate loop for overnight LIVE streams. Short, opinion-provoking prompts rotate through relationships, money, work, technology and everyday arguments. There is no controller to hold and no score to chase — just a fresh reason to join the conversation.
How the endless debate works
A new topic stays on screen for a randomly chosen 60–90 seconds. Watch the countdown, choose an answer and explain your reasoning in your stream’s comments. A short animated interlude introduces the next topic automatically. Agree/disagree, yes/no, either/or choices and open questions keep the format changing.
Thirty categories and short, readable questions.
A shuffled deck, fifty-topic memory, category cooldowns and concept tags prevent obvious repeats.
Softly drifting Pulse Wave logos and changing comment prompts keep the screen alive against a solid dark background.
Use Pulse Hot Takes during a LIVE
Open the game on your streaming device, choose Fullscreen and capture the page using your usual screen-sharing setup. Fullscreen defaults to landscape; the debate stays central with room around the edges. Check your platform’s overlays in a preview before going live. Optional Sound enables an original procedural instrumental — the game works completely silently.
The page requests a screen wake lock where supported. Keep the tab visible, connect power safely and check your device’s sleep settings. Browsers and operating systems may still suspend background tabs; the loop recovers when you return. Follow your streaming platform’s current rules and keep your chat respectful.
Frequently asked questions
Does this read TikTok comments?
No. There is no chat integration, viewer polling or fabricated engagement. The running timer measures local session time only. The floating logos are decorative branding, not viewer reactions.
Will questions repeat?
Eventually, because the library is finite. The last fifty topics are excluded, the last three categories cool down, and a shuffled deck prioritises unseen prompts. Session history survives refresh where browser storage is available.
Is the backing music original?
Yes. An upbeat 112 BPM groove with synthesised chords, bouncing bass, arpeggios and generated drums are created in your browser using Web Audio. There are no downloaded tracks or copyrighted samples. Sound is enabled by default where autoplay is allowed. Otherwise tap the page or Sound to start playback.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The layout is vertical-first, uses safe-area padding and supports native fullscreen or the existing Pulse Wave expanded-view fallback. Fullscreen defaults to landscape, with a rotated fallback when native orientation locking is unavailable.
Can it run unattended?
The topic loop needs no input. Deadline-based progression and the shared overnight watchdog recover from delayed timers. Uninterrupted operation still depends on device power, browser visibility and operating-system restrictions.
